Difference between Dc shunt motor and dc series Motor

 DC series motors and DC shunt motors are two types of DC motors that operate differently.

DC series motors are designed to have a high starting torque and are typically used in applications where the load is heavy or the speed needs to be controlled. They work by having the field winding and armature winding connected in series, which allows for a high starting torque.
