Why does resistance increase instead of decrease when the temperature is increased on the conductor?

Ans: We know that there are free electrons in conductors which are responsible for the flow of electric current. When we apply the external electric field these electrons are moving in between the remaining fixed electron of the conductor and electrons moving opposite to the direction of the outward applied electric current. When the temperature is low the electrons move a fixed path without disturbing but when the temperature increases remaining fixed electrons (which are settled in orbit) create a vibration at a high amount due to this free electrons have difficulty moving and they collide with fixed electrons.
